Air Canada / Air Canada Rouge operations to gradually resume

Air Canada has announced that it will start gradually resuming service this evening after reaching a tentative agreement with CUPE, the union representing its flight attendants.

Please note that it will take time for schedules to return to normal. Passengers should ensure they have confirmed flights before coming to the airport.

Mario Cuconato

Mario Cuconato is Vice President, Integrated services at Civeo Canada (NYSE: CVEO) which is a workforce accommodations specialist dedicated to helping people maintain healthy, productive, and connected lives while living and working away from home. Prior to joining Civeo, Mario was Vice President of Hitachi Consulting Canada, with responsibility for public sector and go to market strategies. 

Mario has been an active participant in the political system for over thirty years, including having served in the office of former Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Paul Martin. Additionally, he chaired the Board of Directors of the Marconi Centre, a long-term care and community centre facility which serves the Italian community in Ottawa. He joined the Airport Authority’s Board in 2020 as a City of Ottawa nominee, and is a member of the Human Resources and Compensation and Major Infrastructure and Environment committees. 

Mario holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Business Administration from Ohio University.
