Lisa Dwyer Hurteau joined the Authority in 2007 and oversees the Legal and Human Resources teams; she also serves as Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors, and in mid-2024, temporarily took on on Security and Emergency Management and the Airport Fire Service until late-2025. Prior to joining the organization, Lisa practiced corporate law in Toronto then Ottawa in large national law firms.

She obtained a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature and Political Science) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1997 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1999.

Lisa enjoys the fast-paced world of aviation and the collaborative team atmosphere at the Ottawa Airport.
