Ian joined the Airport Authority in October 2025. As a Certified Engineer, he brings more than thirty years of leadership experience across aerospace, transportation, and logistics.

He built a strong reputation as a leader in operations, organizational transformation, and continuous improvement during his years with Bombardier in Europe and North America, where he served as Vice President of Continuous Improvement, and later at Canada Post as Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Strategy and Transformation.

In his current role, Ian is responsible for the safety, security, and daily operations of the airport. He brings a strong commitment to employee engagement and safety performance, ensuring that both remain central to our operations.

Ian holds an MBA in Technology Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland.
