Steven Barry joined the Airport Authority in January 2023 as Director, Information Technology and Information Management. In February 2026, he was promoted to Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Security Officer.

Steven brings more than 25 years of experience as an IT executive in not-for-profit and critical infrastructure organizations, including NAV Canada and the Canadian Internet Registration Authority.

In his current role, he leads the Authority’s information security program and oversees the strategic and operational technology initiatives that support innovation, resilience, and growth across the airport.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Carleton University and a Master’s degree from the University of Ottawa.

In his free time, Steve enjoys shenanigans and low-grade frolicking, where his knees allow it.
