Vice President, Operations and Infrastructure


The Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance and operations of the airport facilities and airfield. As a key member of the executive team, the VP will drive innovation, sustainability, and excellence in all aspects of airport operations, contributing to the growth and success of the Ottawa Airport Authority.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in aviation management and airport operations, or a similarly complex operational experience. They possess a strategic mindset and a proven track record of optimizing operations to enhance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This individual is adept at navigating complex regulatory environments and has a deep understanding of airport or similar logistics, including ground handling, terminal management, and airside operations. They will possess excellent communication skills allowing them to effectively lead their team in time sensitive and challenging situations. They will develop and foster a strong positive culture that contributes to the success of the organization. They will bring experience managing large projects across a variety of disciplines, leveraging unique and innovative ideas to accomplish the airport’s objectives.
