2026-2029 Accessibility Plan public consultation

The Authority is currently working on developing our 2026-2029 Accessibility Plan. This will be our second Accessibility Plan under the Accessible Canada Act and the Accessible Transportation for Persons with Disabilities Regulations. Our accessibility consultants (O’Hara Aging + Accessibility and Left Turn Right Turn) are supporting the Authority with the consultations required as part of the process.
The Accessibility Plan 2026-2029 aims to:
- contribute to a more inclusive and barrier-free Canada
- identify barriers and make a plan to prevent and remove them
- meet requirements under the Act and Regulations
As the Authority prepares to publish its Accessibility Plan in May 2026, we’re excited to invite you to a consultation session. During the session, you will have the opportunity to learn about the ongoing accessibility work and achievements and to provide your feedback. We are particularly interested in hearing about the experiences of people with disabilities as they navigate the airport, where improvements are most needed, as well as your insights on what priorities should guide our next steps.
The session will be held in English:
- Monday, March 9, 2026
- 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (Eastern time)
- Virtually on Teams (No registration required)
- With American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Closed Captioning
Please contact Melody Molnar at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding the accessibility of the session and reach out no later than Monday, March 2 if you would like to:
- participate in French
- participate in LSQ (Langue des signes québécoise)
- request an accommodation
